Our Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell group is dedicated to understanding CAR T-cell signalling and function and using this knowledge to develop targeted cancer therapies for patients. We are seeking an experienced, passionate and hard-working Kairangahau (Research Officer) to contribute to our mission: ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to the best possible cancer treatments. In this role, you will be involved in basic research as well as pre-clinical R&D and process development for the clinical CAR T-cell programme.
This exciting opportunity is designed for an MSc or BSc graduate with several years of research experience and an understanding of immunology and familiarity with human primary cell culture. Our successful candidate will be adaptable, demonstrate scrupulous attention to detail, and will communicate effectively within their friendly and collaborative team.
This is a full time position for an initial fixed term of 24 months.
